Family Engagement

At Dayspring Academy, we firmly believe that family engagement is crucial to the learners' educational journey. Thus, we require 15 hours of family engagement per family in each school year. We provide many family engagement opportunities throughout the year. However, if you want to participate in family engagement opportunities at any Dayspring campus or an off-campus activity, you can become a level 2 volunteer!

View the chart below to see examples of level 2 volunteer opportunities:

If you are interested in becoming a Level 2 volunteer, you must complete a Level 2 background screening (with fingerprinting and photo) every five years to ensure the continued safety of our learners. This background check will review records in the state of Florida and the national FBI database.

Please view the steps below to start your application.

Any day after will require a Raptor ID Scan per visit at the front offices or a Level 2 Clearance.

You will then receive an email from Dayspring Academy confirming your clearance.

  • For the safety of our learners and in an effort to expedite our volunteer approval process, Dayspring Academy utilizes an enhanced background screening process, accessing state and national databases. As a result of the enhanced background screening, the cost will be $6 per volunteer application, paid directly to Raptor Technologies. Dayspring does not receive any portion of this fee. Your family will receive 1 volunteer hour for each application submitted (please remember to log your hour). Additionally, you will receive a customized volunteer badge and lanyard to wear while volunteering for events on and off campus. Please contact your campus front office after your application has been approved to receive your badge.
